Music Therapy

Board certified music therapists innovate to provide therapeutic interventions for individuals challenged by a variety of diagnoses. Our goal is to partner with programs whose interventions have measurable impact on children’s and caregivers’ lives.

The Foundation has partnered with organizations in Southern California, making grants to support work with young people ages 0-18 in a variety of settings ranging from the newborn intensive care unit, preschool, alternative school settings, and the short- and long-term hospital stays.

Past music therapy partners include Able ARTS Work, Banding Together, California State University Northridge’s Music Therapy Wellness Clinic, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Memorial Medical Center Foundation’s Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital Long Beach, Resounding Joy Inc., Sharp HealthCare Foundation, UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, and Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services.
