Current Grant Opportunities

2022 Advocacy and Research Grants: Strengthening the Sector

The Foundation’s Strengthening the Sector grants will provide significant, one-year support to organizations advocating for positive changes in the arts, whether it be for increased public funding to arts programs, support for policy changes, the conducting or dissemination of new research, or increasing public will in support of the arts. These grants aim to support systemic change via empowering organizations working at the intersection of music, learning, and well-being.

Eligible organizations will have a service jurisdiction that includes either Los Angeles County, the state of California, or the United States of America.

The application deadline is Thursday, November 10 at 11:59pm Pacific Time, and recipient organizations will be announced in early December.

Music Education

The Foundation seeks partnership with school day music education programs, reaching every student, taught by high-quality teachers, outcomes-driven, and provide sequential instruction. It is our hope that every public school student has access to outstanding music instruction.

Music Therapy

Board certified music therapists innovate to provide therapeutic interventions for individuals challenged by a variety of diagnoses. Our goal is to partner with programs whose interventions have measurable impact on children’s and caregivers’ lives.
